This looks over part of The Forum in the Historic part of the city. The metro runs to the Colloseum but then there are no stops in this area of the city - apparently because they can't dig as they keep falling over archeological sites! This, I shot as HDR and worked with in Photoshop because I felt it would give it a more rugged, old feel.

EXIF

Focal Length: 17 mm
Exposure: 1/256 sec
Aperture: f/8
ISO: 100

  • Ooh, great finish to this. I think this has a very interesting tone and provides much detail. You know Dave at Chromasia has written a book on HDR don't you. "Practical HDR". My company has the distribution rights into North America so I have a copy on my desk as we speak. It really is straight forward and wonderfully produced. Available in October. Oh and you know me, if I think something is naff I'll say.

  • Thanks very much Tobias - I didn't know Dave had done a book on HDR, I only knew about the recent one he's just finished! Might have to check that out as i'm still quite new to HDR :)
